Back 2 School

Dylan - 2nd grade Jordan - 5th grade

Dylan was very excited to get back to school, Jordan not so much.
Dylan already knows someone in his class, our neighbor girl-Haiden (who he says he's going to marry). Once again the school is right outside our neighborhood so they can ride their bikes to school! Yay for me!

After they left this morning, I said to Hayden "What are we going to do all day with out the boys?" Hayden simply said "we can go upstairs!" Silly Hayden. It will sure be quiet without them.

Just for Me

We have made our "formal living room" into the office area and I get my very own scrapbook corner! Yay! I am so excited to have my own desk just for scrapbooking and to be able to keep all my stuff out so I don't have to drag everything out of my closet every time I scrap. Yay me!

I almost cried when I was done unpacking all my scrapbook totes and organizing everything, a happy cry! Whoo hoo!!

I did ask Becca's permission before I bought the same desk as hers. She said it was a great idea!

I am almost ready to take pictures of the rest of the house for y'all (it won't be painted yet though). I can honestly say that there are only 2 boxes in the house that haven't been unpacked. Now the garage is a different story! We'll get to it some day...

Texans

Saturday night the boys got to go to the Houston Texans pre-season game. The president of the company Alex works for has season tickets and Alex won a raffle for that game. Nice seats, huh?! Alex said the boys could have had their pictures taken with the cheerleaders but they were too shy - silly boys!

Me: Yes
Hayden: Hmm, that's a bery small pee-pee.

Movers

If you want to hate your movers, just unpack your stuff!!

When your movers come to pack, you think they are perfectly nice people and when you unpack your things you realize they are actually quite evil!

Here are the top 10 reasons I hate my movers. (in no paticular order)

1. They lost the bolts for Kendall's crib and now claim that I took the crib apart and they actually had me sign a paper that says that I did take it apart.

2. They won't pack your lotions and liquid soaps, but they will pack your husbands cologne and now an entire box of things smells like it.

3. They use an entire box for a cup full of pens or a pillow.

4. I still can't find the bathroom rugs or trash cans.

5. Our sheets and pillows for our bed were put in an unmarked box in the garage (fun searching every box in the house at 11pm so you can make your bed!).

6. They did not take the DVDs out of the DVD cabinets. Turns out that isn't good for the cabinets.

7. All the salt out of my salt shaker ended up all over everything in the box it was in, then all over the floor.

8. All of my pots and pans were packed on top of my foil, glad wrap and plastic bags so now all the boxes are misshapen. My paper towels were like that too.

9. The plastic cups are wrapped in a thick layer of papers and a picture in a frame with glass is just sitting in box unwrapped and under something heavy.

10. All the boxes say Mr. White, but there was no Mr. White during the packing stage!!

Yet still better than doing it yourself!!
