A Perfect 10

Well, probably not perfect, but we like him! Dylan turned 10 this week. We had a party with the water slide and pizza. He had lots of fun. Dylan is the best present reciever, he is always so grateful and excited for whatever he gets. Plus he is very easy to please! He gave his friends all hugs when he opened their presents.

Big Grad

We went to San Antonio for Alex's brother's graduation from law school on Saturday. Unfortunately, it had to be a short trip, but we had fun!



Kendall has a thing for motorcycles. She's the only one of our kids that was brave enough to ride! Now she wants a girl motorcycle, pink with sprinkles.

The kids stayed with Grandpa and Grandma and Alex and I stayed at Hotel Contessa. Crissy came and had breakfast with us. She was nice enough to bend down in the picture so I wouldn't look so short!

Lil' Grad

Hayden's pre-school did a full out graduation ceremony. They all marched in and they received their "diplomas" then they stepped up to the microphone and said what they wanted to be when they grow up. Hayden had planned on saying astronaut, then he changed his mind and wanted to say basketball player and then he decided he wanted to do what Daddy does. But when I told him human resources director, he said he couldn't say that. So when it was his turn, he said "When I grow up, I want to be................. I don't know." It was so cute and he got a big laugh!

Mother's Day

Dylan gave me a card he made, among other things, it said "I'm sorry for being disrespectful to you in the morning on the fifth of May." I didn't know he was keeping track!! Best Mother's Day card EVER!!

Nana & Papa's Visit

Alex hooked us up with tickets to an Astro's game, right behind the dugout. I put Nana and Papa to work helping us build a patio. We went to the beach on a crappy beach day, the boys all had fun, Kendall froze and was not happy, until we ate lunch, of course! Kendall got to beat up on Papa and Mom and I celebrated our birthdays a week early.

Kendall got mad at me when I started to change the sheets on Jordan's bed after they left. She was so sure they were coming back!
