10, 9, 8...

Blast off! Dylan is 8! Oh my heck!! Time goes SO fast.

The video was too long to put on here but, the jist of it is Hayden blows out the candles then we relight them and Alex covers Hayden's mouth so Dylan could blow out his own candles! It is unfortunate that it is so long because it was very funny!

Dylan had a great birthday, Dad, Jordan, Dylan, and Uncles Andrew and Dave went to see the earliest showing of Indiana Jones, then they went to Dave & Buster's with a couple of Dylan's buddies and played most of the day. Then Dylan's favorite dinner (Alfredo Pasta) and a rocket cake and presents. It is great to be 8!

Off with IT!

Daddy is still just a big kid!

Hayden had great big tears rolling down his face. Poor kid. Woody is VERY good at what he does though and would never hurt him. I promised him a LONG bubble bath when we got home but he changed his mind when we got here and just wanted to watch a movie (don't worry I still washed his stinky arm!).

We said bye-bye to the trampoline last night!

When she sleeps...

I found Kendall in her crib like this Friday morning.

News

Ok, so I wrote a post a few days ago and I couldn't post it then, I just sat and stared at it for like five minutes. So I saved it and today I am brave (and I don't want to shock any more of my friends that I think already know, when I haven't told them) so scroll down to see the other post "3 year itch".

Happy B-day 2 ME!

I love it when my birthday is a 2 day event! Crissy came to hang out with me on Tuesday afternoon. She brought us cup cakes, which Kendall LOVED! Then we went to the late showing of Baby Mama, which was so much better than I thought it would be. I thought it would be stupid funny (which I love), but it was that and a romatic comedy.

Kendall and Crissy sword fighting! The things she learns having three older brothers.

I think she is going to be a goofball like her mother...

My boys wanted to make me a cake. They said I couldn't help (I had to step in for a second when Jordan got out a measuring cup and said "we need 4 of these" I said "no read that again," it was 1/4 cup)

The frosting proved difficult for a 9 year old, I had to help spread. It was the BEST birthday cake I ever had.

Dylan was very upset that this was all the candles we had!!

My Mommy & Daddy Love Me

This is the front of the card my mom and dad sent me for my birthday. The inside says "See there are scarier things than another birthday!"
My dad said that he just HAD to send this one to me. I'm not sure what that says about us. It is a bit disturbing though!

The 3 Year Itch...

Alex and I have been married for nearly 11 years now, in that time we have moved 6 times. The longest we made it was almost exactly 3 years in Salt Lake. When we chose to move from Lajitas (2 years 7 months) we picked San Antonio because we thought it was a place that we could live for a long time...

But as we are approaching 3 years here, Alex has been offered a promotion to the coporate office in The Woodlands (near Houston). Yeah promotion, boo moving!! So now we are off to more adventures in a new city, again. We are very excited about the promotion and all the opportunities that are in store for our family. We are also very sad about having to leave this wonderful place and mostly the wonderful people that we have in our lives here.

We don't have a move date yet, but hopefully our house will sell quickly.
