House Buying Day

Tomorrow is house buying day!!! YAY!!!

I figure I won't have time to post tomorrow or anyday soon after that, so I will prepost my news and hope it doen't jinx it. We close tomorrow afternoon and the movers come on Thursday. I am so relieved and excited! We did our walk-thru yesterday and the house looks beautiful. I can't wait.

Dog Boy

Today while the kids were eating lunch, I noticed that Kendall was dropping her mac + cheese on the floor so I told her to stop. Then Hayden's head pops up and in his doggy voice he says "ruff, but I'm hungry!" She wasn't dropping it, she was feeding Hayden-dog!

BTW his doggy voice is high pitched with panting mixed in - its very funny and cute. Some days I think he's taking the dog thing a little too far though! Gracie used to feed him dog treats (fruit snacks) and now it is hard to get him to eat a fruit snack without me handing them to him one at a time. Sometimes he makes me throw them across the room for him, oh and makes us play fetch with him (and of course little sister loves to copy him). My mom mentioned today that I should find him a dog costume for Halloween, I thought that was a great idea. I'm a little afraid he might go trick or treating on his hands and knees though!

Daddy's Workout

This is just a light workout of course! Kendall is just as rough and loves to wrestle Daddy as much as her brothers. She has just recently decided its fun for Daddy to throw her in the air too. Up till now she liked it when I did it, but not when Daddy did it - kind of like the difference between the low dive and the high dive!

Keep Out!

As in trying to keep the kids busy and out of the apartment! Mostly we go swimming and to the children's museum. Here are some pics of the kids having fun.

All of the dress-up outfits are just a bit too small for Dylan, but that doesn't stop him!

Hayden has learned to be such a good dog and he's even teaching Kendall how to be a dog. Thanks Gracie! I have to tell him to stop barking at people!

Dr. J - they have a lifesize "operation" table (like the game) but it doesn't buzz when you miss. Jordan wore his hat and mask to the grocery store after this. It's ok cause I don't know anyone yet!

Kendall is so gracefull when she floats around the pool. I love to watch her.

Ok- notice the difference between Hayden and Kendall in the pool. Hayden is a chicken and Kendall has no fear. Hayden still won't jump into the pool unless I catch him and Kendall just plops right in.


Like mother, like daughter. I LOVE to layout and Kendall seems to be getting an itch for it too. She had to have her towel perfectly straight.

The Incredible UNedible Egg

Holy Wow! This thing is so AWSOME! It was recomended to me by my brother about a month ago and today I gave in to the temptation. I can't believe how FABULOUS my feet are! And I have been known to razor and file my feet for a good half-hour to get them ok. This took like 5 minutes and my feet are WONDERFUL! Seriously, I'm not even getting paid to say this! Forget the pumice stone, try this and you will be changed forever. People will notice your feet from a mile away - even if you're wearing shoes. They will say 'let me feel your feet, they look as soft a baby's bum!' Really I totally can't wait for the first time it happens to me.

Homeless

As of Thursday we are officially homeless!! Our San Antonio house only closed 2 weeks late, better late than never though! Our new house should be ready in a little over a week (hopefully it will close on time).



I can't wait, my brain is already constantly pondering where everything will go. I will ask Alex questions about what he thinks and he always says "we'll worry about it when we get there." Agh, I want to have it all planned out, plus it is really fun for me to think about. I'm not sure if I should pick paint colors now or wait until we are moved in? I guess I have to wait so I can see how the samples look in the house. I have so much stuff in my mental to do list and I can't do any of it yet. Oh well, this week I am going to distract myself by shopping for new couches! How fun is that?!!

Baby Fish

Kendall loves to swim. She steps off into the deep water then just floats around. She won't stay in the big float anymore, she'll only use the floaties. This was at the pool on top of The Hotel Contessa.


She also likes to show off her bum or lack there of!

A Bum Smackin' Time

Bryant flew me out to St. Louis and drove me to Decater to surprise Becca for her birthday. She was SO shocked. It was so much fun just to see the look on her face. I have never been a birthday present before and I didn't even have to jump out of a cake!

We had lots of fun and ate lots of bad things and 3 of the Castletons smacked my bum (I won't say which ones)!

One of my favorite parts was when Lilly gave me a kiss, it made me cry.
