On the Road Again

A week after we got back from our trip to Chattanooga, the kids and I loaded up and drove to Arizona. My mom flew to El Paso and drove the rest of the way there with us (thank goodness!) and on the way back we dropped her off at Crissy's in San Antonio.

On our way into AZ, Kendall started to notice mountains. You would have thought the girl found gold the way she flipped out about the mountains! She made me take a picture, notice this is not even a big mountain. My poor little flat-lander.

We got lucky and happened to get to Arizona on Trevor's birthday. We got to stop and have a little party with the Jones'!

Kendall wanted to be sure she left an impression, so she made a HUGE mess with her cupcake.

Kendall had so much fun with Molly. We tried to get Nana to let us bring her home, but she said no.

Grandma and Grandpa Olson's house is always one of our first places to visit.
Grandma taught Hayden and Kendall how to use a rotary phone. It didn't occur to me at the time, but Grandma, why do you even still have that phone? Someone buy them a new phone!
Grandma is always good for some cookies and ice cream. In fact she told us to eat the cookies because Grandpa was ready for a fresh batch!

Looks like you guys had a fun time in AZ. Poor Kendall, getting all excited over a hill though!
